Welcome! I’m Mesa, I write and illustrate nonfiction and fiction children’s books! I’m represented by Sorche Fairbank at Fairbank Literary Representation.
My comic work has been published in The Intima literary journal, and in my medical/scientific work. I am working on an adult graphic novel in progress about life with the BRCA1 “breast cancer” gene, and for the children’s graphic novel market, including a YA graphic novel about broken friendship, finding one’s true self, with explorations of socioeconomic struggle and reproductive health.
